Description:
Supply and maintenance of 8 chemical flux spreaders for the Brussels-Capital Region: 2 lots

The purpose of this contract is to supply 8 (eight) chemical fluxing machines for the winter treatment of roads and cycle paths in the Brussels-Capital Region, in accordance with the conditions set out in this special specification.

The purpose of the contract divided into 2 (two) lots is:

Lot 1: the supply of 3 (three) chemical fondant spreaders driven by wheel or electric motor, with a loading capacity of about 4 m³ of dry salt and equipped with brine tanks with a capacity of at least 1,500 liters intended for the winter treatment of roads in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Lot 2: the supply of 5 (five) chemical fondant spreaders driven by the hydraulics of the carrier vehicle, with a loading capacity of at least 0.2 m³ of dry salt and equipped with brine tanks with a capacity of at least 150 liters intended for the winter treatment of cycle paths in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Each batch has 2 (two) phases:

The first phase consists in the supply of chemical flux spreaders and ends with the provisional reception of the spreaders.

The second phase starts at the end of the first phase and consists of the maintenance and repairs of the spreaders supplied, according to the manufacturer's instructions during their lifespan with a maximum period of 12 (twelve) calendar years. All maintenance and repair interventions during this period are the responsibility of the successful tenderer.

During the second phase of the contract, from the 3rd Monday in October to the 3rd Monday in April, the successful tenderer provides a hotline by telephone and e-mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in order to receive reports of breakdowns and to carry out the necessary repairs within 48 hours of the contracting authority's request.

Training in French and Dutch in the use of spreaders for 5 users is also part of this contract and will be included in the price of the offer.
