Briefly description of the project:

Engineering design in relation to:

— Reconstruction of “Gamleskolen” (“the Old school”), built in 1970, area approx. 1 500 m2 (contains swimming pool in the air-raid shelter area located in the basement),

— complete reconstruction of the lower secondary school building from 1986, area approx. 1 600 m2,

— pavilion from 1999, some rebuilding and an addition with area approx. 30 m2,

— new school building, area approx. 1 000 m2,

— new swimming pool in separate building, total area approx. 400 m2.

The assignment/tender competition involves engineering design group for the disciplines: Architect (ARK), Interior architect (IARK), Landscape architect (LARK), Consulting engineer construction works for buildings (RIB), Consulting engineer HVAC (RIV), Consulting engineer Fire-proofing (RIBR), Consulting engineer Geotechnics (RIG), Consulting engineer Acoustics (RIAKU).

The tender shall be submitted by 1 legal unit and shall include a complete group which internally must be organised in such a way that project’s requirements are covered completely. Internal agreement shall be entered into, compare NS 8401 point 5.5.

The assignment is divided in 2:

Part 1 is preliminary project, including description and cost estimate (shall be prepared for political management/project approval).

Part 2 is detailed engineering design, i.e. necessary engineering design and following up of completion of the project as a general contract.
