This notice concerns competition for the SAS procedure for the Severe Dyslexia component.
The assignment includes diagnosis and treatment of Severe Dyslexia for pupils from primary education or special (primary) education (7 to 12 years) from the West Frisian municipalities where reading, spelling and writing themselves, given the age and level of education, is too difficult without general learning problems, neurological problems or serious sensory impairments. The Protocol Dyslexia Diagnostics and Treatment 3.0 et seq. remains the leading instrument.
Severe Dyslexia only exists if PDDB has been diagnosed according to the Dutch Dyslexia Quality Institute (NKD) and no other causes have been found that can explain the reading problems.
Treatment should be completed within twenty months.
The support should lead to the following result:
- After the use of specialized support and treatment for dyslexia, the child is of primary school age in a period of max. 20 months able to technically read, spell and write at an acceptable level.
