MVV Energie AG operates public charging stations for electric vehicles. As part of the “Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles” funding program, MVV is building around 20 public fast charging stations in Mannheim and in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, most of which are located on public roads. The tender includes the delivery of around 20 charging stations for use in public streets.
DC High charging stationsCharging column with 2 charging points (8 charging columns or 16 charging points). Each charging point is able to deliver an output between 150 kW and 300 kW. When charging both charging points in parallel, each charging point must be able to deliver at least 150 kW.
DC Low charging stationsCharging column with 2 charging points (12 charging columns or 24 charging points). Each charging point is able to deliver an output between 50 kW and 100 kW. When charging both charging points in parallel, each charging point must be able to deliver at least 50 kW.
