The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) intends to establish and operate a service point by means of an open procedure in accordance with § 119 para. 1 GWB
in the gender equality labour market programme "GAPS".

To support the BMFSFJ, a service point is to be advertised for the period from 01.11.2022 to 31.12.2025, which implements the action programme and accompanies its subprojects. The tasks of the service point include above all:
- Cooperation with sub-projects of the action programme:
a. The service point acts as an interface management between all parties involved and contact persons and is the central contact point in the network of the new labour market programme.
b. This includes disseminating project (interim) results and ensuring the sustainability of practical findings, e.g. through publications on the action programme website, www.perspektivenschaffen.de.
c. The service point works together with the funded (model) projects (project sponsor/association of sponsors, responsible speaker, if necessary. Project Advisory Board), advises on funding issues and networks the project promoters for a mutual exchange.
- Cooperation with the BMFSFJ:
a. The service point works closely with the responsible department. For this purpose, monthly jour fixe are set up. The jour fixe can take place both digitally and analogue. The service point creates the logs.
b. In terms of content, the service centre is expected to provide expertise and input - even in the short term - on current labour market policy issues relating to and having an impact on equality between women and men. These include impulses or short notes for the further development of the programme, for the topics of the subprojects and for networking (3 impulses/notes per year from 2023).
c. The service point supports the department in answering questions from citizens and parliamentary questions as well as in correspondence with the network partners.
d. The service point prepares regular reports for the client (in the quarter, with a short outline of activities, material costs and personnel deployment).
- Support of the steering committee:
a. The Service Centre organises the meetings of the Steering Committee on the Action Programme (usually two meetings per year, a maximum of four per year).
b. This includes preparation and invitation management, implementation incl. catering via the house caterer in the BMFSFJ, logging, follow-up, follow-up of the agreements made, etc.
- As part of the public relations work for the programme, the service centre is responsible for
a. the creation and implementation of a communication concept for the labour market programme and the establishment of the presence in the (new) media in order to further increase the reach of the programme
b. the editorial support of the website for the ACTION PROGRAMME GAPS, www.perspektiven-schaffen.de, with contributions to the sub-projects and background information on the programme as well as general information on the subject of equality in the labour market. This also includes:
c. the regular updating of the existing contributions and links as well as the search for new linking possibilities and the corresponding implementation
d. the editorial and content-related support of the Xing Group "Perspektive Wiedereinstieg: Klick Dich rein - für neue Wege"
e. the ongoing development and collection of best practice examples on the topics of the labour market programme for websites and publications
f. the conception and implementation of print and digital products such as flyers, brochures, advertisements, posters (2-3 products per year from 2023). Proven media and distribution channels (information portal, newsletter, trade fairs) as well as existing information materials of the BMFSFJ and scientific studies are to continue to be used and new communication channels (social media, etc.) are to be expanded.
- Implementation/participation in events:
a. The service point presents GAPS at congresses, conferences/trade fairs and exhibitions (participation in 2-3 external events per year).
b. It organises virtual, hybrid and face-to-face events through specialist conferences (one GAPS symposium per year from 2023).
c. The planning must be coordinated in advance with the client.
