The subject of the contract to be awarded is the conversion and expansion of the "Altes Kinos auf Franklin" into a meeting place during the general refurbishment of the Nationaltheater Mannheim (NTM) to cover the associated need for alternative venues for the period of the general refurbishment from June 2022 to probably summer 2027. Subsequently, the building will continue to be maintained and operated as a meeting and performance venue for a wide variety of cultural and social events.

The services to be awarded include:

- Execution of all construction work required for the building project, including demolition and dismantling work, as well as the necessary fire protection requirements;

- Execution of all technical construction works required for the building project (heating, ventilation, sanitary, extinguishing technology, etc.);

- Execution of all stage technical construction work required for the building project (stage machinery, stage lighting, audio-video);

- Execution of all external works required for the building project;

- Creation of work and assembly plans for the entire construction project on the basis of the existing draft and approval planning as well as the functional description of services.
