The works at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust comprise of the Inspection, Remediation and Certification (as required) of Fire Doors (internal fire resisting doors and final exit doors) as applicable; described and identified in the Schedule and located on the Tender drawings to be provided.Ongoing, Functional Fire Door Inspection and their subsequent maintenance is a fundamental requirement of managing compliant fire resisting doors to a satisfactory standard, meeting the legal requirements of Article 17 of the FSO and in accordance with Fire code HTM 05-03 part K, BS 9999 and BS 8214.
