As part of the flood damage elimination, EVH GmbH is planning the replacement of the 60 district heating tower in the Saaleaue, which is a flooding area of the Saale and nature reserve in Halle (Saale). The aim is to make the district heating route 60 flood-proof in the flooding area of the Saale.

The new terrace of Section B dike is between the B 80 and the dike near the existing scoop to the inventory

Angeschossen and laid under the existing dike and one, called Roßgraben, drainage ditch in open construction. After the crossings, the approximately 100 m long new terrace connects to the aboveground stock.

Underground pipes of classic design with separate flow and return pipe (two-pipe system) DN 600 of various insulation thicknesses are used. The existing above-ground district heating system, NW 800, is to be dismantled including the thermal insulation and the foundation mortar.
