Contract No SANCO/2012/C3/01 consists of the provision of a study on antimicrobial resistance and research on the causes of non-prudent use of antibiotics, including the prevalence of the sale and consumption of antimicrobial agents without a prescription in human medicine in the EU Member States and Croatia, as well as the organisation of an experts' workshop to discuss policy options to enhance the prudent use of antibiotics in the EU.
