In order to be able to provide the fastest adequate assistance to the population, it is required that the relief zones of West Flanders have the necessary and correct resources that are suitable to carry out their tasks in an effective manner.

In the context of the purchase of the equipment for multifunctional car pumps and the replacement of existing hydraulic dissipation equipment, the West Flemish emergency zones wish to proceed with the purchase of hydraulic relief equipment powered by batteries. This equipment is used in the conditions described in standard EN 13204 "Doppelt wirkende hydraulische Rettungsgeräte für die Feuerwehr und Rettungsdienste – Sicherheits- und Leistungsanforderungen".
