The purpose of this contract is the renovation of the Wasmuël wastewater treatment plant on the territory of the Municipality of Quaregnon. The plant currently has a processing capacity of 250,000 p.e.

It concerns the renovation of the following structures:

• Entrance channel and screens, main valve, ...

• Dessableurs

The renovation mainly consists of bringing the structures back into conformity with the code on well-being at work, repairing concrete, replacing obsolete electromechanical equipment, preparing for the implementation of odor treatment.

It also involves the construction of a hangar above the existing sandblasters. This shed is necessary for the treatment of odors.

The execution of works generates significant CO2 emissions. IDEA aims to reduce these CO2 emissions when executing its public contracts. The achievement of this ambition is only possible thanks to the active efforts of its contractors. For this reason, this public contract includes the CO2 Performance Scale methodology, which rewards bidders who make efforts to reduce their CO2 emissions with an advantage under the award criteria.

The contractual provisions relating to the methodology of the CO2 performance scale are set out in points 2. Award criteria, y (performance conditions) and in article 45 penalties of these specifications.

- Concrete repairs

- Electromechanical equipment.

- The establishment of the various pipes.

- Connections and energy connections.

- The construction of a new technical room

- The construction of a shed for the treatment of odors emanating from sandblasters.

- The development of the surroundings



The development of the access and interior sidewalks to the station as well as the realization of the surroundings of the works concerned (sidewalks, fence and lawning, plantations)

Waste disposal.

Carrying out acceptance tests.

The provision of the file as built of realization.

The assembly of the IUD folder.
