Feasibility study for the construction of a depot for the electrified city bus transport of the university town of Marburg
With the electrification of city bus transport, the university city of Marburg and Stadtwerke Marburg want to make an important contribution to the greenhouse gas reductions decided by the Federal Government in 2019. On the high-demand and topographically demanding lines, the use of hybrid trolleybuses (HO buses) is planned for this purpose. The overhead contact line serves as a charging infrastructure for the vehicle batteries.
Due to the intended conversion of the bus fleet of Stadtwerke Marburg GmbH to electric drives, the previous depot with storage areas, refuelling, maintenance and servicing, operations control centre, driver training and administration no longer meets these requirements.
Therefore, a feasibility study including a requirements plan and an architectural preliminary design for a new depot must be prepared.
The following documents are provided for further project information:
Annex A - Description of the project
Annex B - Summary of the cost estimate of the entire construction project
Annex C - Draft implementing agreement for the provision of services
The measure is subject to a strict cost regime due to the funding. The budget must be adhered to.
