The regional bus line 360 and the local bus lines 365 and 380 connect the district town of Bad Hersfeld with the surrounding communities of Hauneck, Haunetal, Niederaula and the market town of Eiterfeld in the district of Fulda. The local bus lines 383 and 391 connect districts of the municipalities of Kirchheim, Oberaula and Breitenbach am Herzberg with Niederaula, where there are connections to further lines to the district town of Bad Hersfeld. Within the market town of Haunetal runs the local bus line 385. The local bus lines 370, 381, 382 and 384 connect several school locations with the surrounding districts.
