Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced organisation for the provision of Thermal Imaging Equipment The total number of devices within HFRS currently stands at 112 which consist of varying manufacturer’s types and models with an average age of between 2 and 12 years in service. As a result of the increased requirement for the provision of Thermal Imaging Cameras at operational incidents, HFRS seeks to purchase an initial 91 devices for allocation to all ‘frontline’ operational fire appliances. The contract has an estimated value of 300 000 GBP for the maximum life of the contract, 10 years.
