The CCG wishes to commission a community based Dermatology Service comprising triage, assessment and treatment. The service will ensure integrated pathways with primary and secondary care services as appropriate. The service will assume full responsibility for all operational management, administrative, staffing and training requirements and all associated costs.

In summary the CCG wishes to procure the following:

— Triage of all dermatology referrals.

— A clinically led Dermatology service which would provide the assessment, treatment, access to diagnostics and referral on when required.

— The service should be based at a location or locations accessible to the population of East Lancashire and operated at times convenient to patients e.g. during working hours, evening or weekend sessions.

The contract is intended to be for 2 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years.

To ensure all potential Bidders are given an equal opportunity to fully understand the requirements of the East Lancashire CCG Procurement and also to further define and develop the final service model, the CCG also wishes to hold a ‘Clinical Scoping Session' to further define and develop the final service model. This session will be held on 13.11.2014 at 13:00 pm at Walshaw House, Nelson.
