Argyll and the Isles Coast and Countryside Trust (ACT) wishes to appoint a competent and suitability qualified tenderer(s) to supply and erect 1200m of deer fence around woodland at Coille Farm, Isle of Islay.This contract will also involve the stripping out ad disposal of an old stock fence. In 2021 ACT commenced a programme of rhododendron removal from the woodland and adjacent bog. The area is heavily grazed by deer and ACT wish to encourage the regeneration of native trees within the woodland by extending the existing fence to enclose the entire woodland.
