Koy Otaniemi Student Centre (Business ID: 3232571-5) hereinafter referred to as "Client" or "Contracting Entity" requests a tender for construction services during the construction of the OPKE project, meaning construction and supervision tasks in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices.
Aalto University Campus & Real Estate Ltd will carry out the procurement on behalf of and on behalf of the Koy Otaniemi Student Centre, which acts as the procurement unit. The electronic Hanki service is used for competitive tendering.
The invitation to tender concerns the construction service of the Koy Otaniemi Student Centre project, meaning construction and supervision tasks. The project planned for construction is a student centre, where the premises of the new building have several different uses. The facilities include a restaurant, various event facilities, music rooms, office premises, project rooms, sauna facilities, break rooms and support rooms for event facilities. The uses of the premises can be found in more detail in the appendices to the project programme.
The project is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, on the Aalto University campus (02150 Espoo). A more accurate location can be found out in the preliminary plan of the architect. The zoning of the area is still in progress.

The form of implementation of the project is tentatively the main contract with a total price, which aims at smooth cooperation and uncomplicated project management between the client, the construction service provider and the designers. The construction project is carried out in close cooperation with three student organisations (AYY, KY and TF). Cooperation with student organisations refers to the tasks included in the construction services in accordance with the annex to the project programme, such as scheduling, reporting, budget monitoring, making a decision schedule and proposals, change management with the client and student organisations, for example. in the project steering group and in separate meetings. In addition to preparing documents, the tasks of the construction service include that the documents must be presented to the ti-wide and student organizations and updated in accordance with the comments. The documents to be prepared include schedules, reports, budgets, decision schedules, change management documents.
The total gross scope of the project is approximately 4660 m².
The preliminary content and timetable of the project are described in the preliminary project programme in Annex 1. The assignment includes tasks in accordance with the invitation to tender and its annexes. The project is related to campus development in line with Aalto University's strategy.
