The aim of the contracting authority is to award a maximum of three contracts in Part I and a maximum of four in Part II (CFD) by means of a public procurement. Under the contract, the tenderer undertakes to build and operate a new generating installation producing renewable electricity and to hand over to the contracting authority the certificates of origin issued for the renewable electricity produced by the generating installation.
Part I renewable electricity supply from one or more energy sources other than wind. Energy sources: water, sun, wave, tidal, geothermal, landfill gas, gas from wastewater treatment, biogas and biomass.
