The GARR Consortium intends to acquire the optical transport elements necessary to extend the GARR-T network in a unitary way on a national scale, according to the partially unbundled optical network model under construction with the GARR-T project. In particular, through this procedure, GARR intends to extend and expand the GARR-T network according to the same architectural model, updating the line system on Infinera FlexILS technology in the regions of Campania, Calabria, Puglia and Sicily involved in the previous GARR-X Progress project (carried out in the years 2014-2016) in continuity with the activities already carried out in the center-north and with the aim of creating a single photonic and operational domain throughout the national territory.
In addition, it intends to acquire DCI/Transponder equipment of the Groove GX Infinera platform to create the optical interconnections necessary to meet the data traffic demands in Abruzzo, Sardinia and the southern regions.
Extension of the GARR-T network within the TeRABIT project - CIG 9838850BDCa. the supply of equipment for the upgrade of the transmission line system of GARR-X Progress in Southern Sicily towards an open line optical system (Open Line System - OLS). The equipment offered must belong to the Infinera FlexILS platform used in the GARR-T network, to allow the creation of a unitary and homogenous solution at national level and a single photonic domain;
b. the supply of DCI/Transponder optical transport equipment to meet the traffic matrices reported in the technical tender specifications. The equipment offered must belong to the Infinera Groove GX platform used in the GARR-T network, to allow the creation of a unitary and homogenous solution at national level;
c. the hardware and software installation service of the equipment in the GARR PoP, including transport, site preparation, configuration, activation and network migration as well as complete wiring and labeling of the equipment;
d. the design, activation and testing necessary for the activation of the network, which also includes the complete design of the solution to be implemented, based on the topology and characteristics of the geographical optical fiber, in addition to the consolidation and remediation of the sites. Design, construction and compliance with delivery terms are the responsibility of the Supplier;
e. the supply of performance control, management and monitoring software, in order to allow the complete management of the identified solution;
f. the supply of stocks necessary for the provision of the maintenance service;
g. the specialized technical assistance service of the equipment and management system, for the duration of 10 consecutive years starting from the date of the test report with positive outcome of the equipment;
h. the maintenance service of the equipment and management system, for the duration of 10 consecutive years starting from the date of the test report with positive outcome of the equipment.
Extension of the GARR-T network within the ICSC project - CIG 983889402FI. the supply of equipment for upgrading the transmission line system of GARR-X Progress in the regions of Campania, Calabria Puglia and Northern Sicily towards an open line optical system (Open Line System - OLS). The equipment offered must belong to the Infinera FlexILS platform used in the GARR-T network, to allow the creation of a unitary and homogenous solution at national level and a single photonic domain;
