Pääkaupunkiseudun Junakalusto Oy (hereinafter referred to as ‘Junakalusto Oy’) arranges competitive tendering for the procurement of the overhaul of vacuum circuit breakers, roof cable separators and pantographs of Sm5 train units.
Object of the procurement
A tender is requested for the overhaul of vacuum circuit breakers, roof cable separators and pantographs of Sm5 train units defined in more detail in this invitation to participate and annexes thereto.
The object of the procurement are the overhauls of the following components manufactured by Richard AG Murgenthal:
1) vacuum circuit breaker, RM 572, the total number on the date of signing the agreement is 170 vacuum circuit breakers;
2) roof cable separator, RM 597, the total number on the date of signing the agreement is 84 roof cable separators;
3) pantograph, RM 368, the total number on the date of signing the agreement is 171 pantographs.
The annual number of the overhauls are as per component type. Estimates of the number of overhauls as per component type have beenstated in clauses 4.1.1-4.1.3 of the draft agreement attached to the invitation to tender as Annex 2.
A more detailed scope and terms of the overhaul have been specified in the following annexes to the invitation to tender:

— Annex 1.1: Scope of the overhaul of the vacuum circuit breaker, roof cable.
Separator and pantograph
In addition to the overhaul, the transport of each component from the facility shown by the buyer to the facility where the overhaul is performed and back to the facility shown by the buyer is included in the object of the procurement as described in clause 5.1.1 of the draft agreement.
Delivery time
The buyer will hand over to the seller one (1) overhaul batch at a time that typically comprises four (4) vacuum circuit breakers. However, the seller shall be prepared for a minor variation of the number of components included in an overhaul batch. The delivery times of the overhaul batches will be specified in the negotiations and in the final invitation to tender.
