The award of a contract for Tier 2 Weight Management Service which will offer a service that meets the OHID (Office of health inequalities and disparity) and NICE (National institute for Health and Care Excellence) requirements of a Tier 2 Weight management service, to tackling obesity and promote healthier weight.

A new contract is to be awarded to Miles Bramwell Executive Services Ltd ta Slimming World for the Tier 2 Weight Management Service commissioned by the Public Health team within City of York Council and this notice is an intention to award a contract under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) competitive tender process .

The contract will commence in June 2024 for an initial 12 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The estimated annual contract value is £25,000 and therefore including any extension exercise by the council the potential total contract value will be £50,000.
