Network Rail (NR) requires the manufacturer and supply of 25 KV Disconnectors in order to meet the needs of its internal and external customers for electrified railway works in Great Britain.

The disconnectors required are those used to isolate electrical power in a railway overhead contact system with a combination of ‘load break’ and ‘no load’ functionality. Operating mechanism can be either manual or motorised for local or remote control.

Tenderers will be required to supply different types of disconnectors to suit NR's existing ad proposed for 25 KV AC electrified overhead line systems.
