Maintenance for homecare, domiciliary ventilators and associated equipment, which includes filters, battery packs, batteries, battery charging units and humidification units. The inventory consists predominantly of ResMed, Respironics and nippy equipment located in the community in patient homes. The requirement is for a comprehensive contract.

There are 2 200 homecare ventilators located in the community, and approximately 180 in pool stock ready for use when required. The contract requirement is for a comprehensive agreement to include costs for parts on devices up to 7 year olds. For older equipment ad-hoc costs may apply if the client deems the repair work to be economically viable.
