Gasum is planning to increase the mobile LNG-vaporizer capacity to be used for the spare fuel supply in the possible emergency or other network shut-down cases.
This procurement notice is issued for the purchase of a portable 1 unit LNG Vaporization System.

The procurement is governed by the Finnish Act on Utilities Procurement (Act 1398/2016) and the Directive 2014/25 coordinating the procurement procedures of entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors (‘Utilities' Procurement Directive’). The estimated total value of the procurement therefore exceeds the threshold set in section 13 of the Finnish Act on Utilities Procurement (Act 1398/2016). The threshold for supply and service contracts is 414 000 EUR.
The object of the procurement is Portable LNG Vaporization System. The vaporizing capacity of the units (systems) in focus will be 100 MW. The connection point is to the natural gas network, typically at pressure level of 10 barg. The unit shall be designed for operation 24 hours per day, and at minimum for 3 months without interruption.
The requested vaporizer shall be based on water bath vaporizer. Vaporizer shall be equipped with gas fuelled heaters. Boiler is integrated as one module with vaporizer or separate boiler unit. For example electric heaters, ambient air vaporizer as a vaporizer's main heater are excluded. Vaporizing of the LNG shall be done in the water bath, which is indirectly heated by the gas fuelled heaters. The vaporizer's water bath and boiler can be integrated as a one module. If the vaporizer's water bath and boiler are their own modules, unit shall be transported with one truck trailer.
Latest time for the delivery at site is in the end of the year 2017.
The procurement contract will include a 2-year guarantee period. No long-term maintenance agreement or similar is included in this procurement.
