Description:
Purchase of workwear delivered to Leijona Catering's locations, as well as workwear recycling service and workwear washing services

The object of the procurement is the workwear ("Products") of Leijona Catering Oy (hereinafter also referred to as the "Contracting Entity") listed in the invitation to tender. The contracting entity buys the Products for itself. The Procurement includes the delivery of Products to the offices of the contracting entity and the recycling of the Products ("Recycling Service"). The recycling service is described below.

In addition, the procurement includes laundry and repair services for the Products ("Laundry Services"). Laundry services also include laundry services for textiles used by other contracting entity locations, similar to those provided for products.

The procurement is divided into parts so that the tenderer can offer either subdivision 1) Products and recycling service or subdivision 2) Laundry and repair services, or both.

If the tenderer submits an offer for Section 1, the tenderer must present an operating model for the Recycling Service, in which the workwear used and discarded at Leo can be recycled again for new use or as raw material for new products. Recycling is defined in more detail in section II.2.4. The tenderer selected as the supplier for subdivision 1 implements the operating model approved by the contracting entity as a Recycling Service at the prices specified in the contract. The recycling service cannot be provided separately.

The provider selected as the supplier for subdivision 1 must have a storage facility for the Products and a real-time storage monitoring and reporting system must also be in use.

Subdivision 2 covers laundry and repair services for Products offered in Subdivision 1, including picking Products from locations, washing and inspecting washed Products for repairs, repairing Products requiring repair, and delivering washed and intact Products back to the office as required by the invitation to tender below. Repair service cannot be provided separately. Laundry services must cover all contracting entity locations in Finland. The tenderer selected as the supplier for subdivision 2 implements the operating model approved by the contracting entity as a laundry service at the prices specified in the contract.

As an option, the contracting entity may also procure, on the basis of a contract for subdivision 2, washing services for other site-specific textiles of its locations ("Other textiles"). Other textiles refer to office-specific textiles in small quantities, such as tablecloths. Other products are collected, washed and delivered to the Locations in the same way as the Products. The Customer is responsible for separating other textiles from the Products collected for washing as part of the Service. The washing of other products is priced similarly to that of the Products.

The subject matter of the procurement and the requirements and conditions concerning it are described in more detail in the section-specific description and in the invitation to tender and its appendices.
