The target of the procurement is the 110kV gas-insulated two-track switchgear of Helen Electricity Network Ltd's new switchgear to be built in Eiranranta, with its protective relays, control systems and self-propelled equipment, installed and commissioned. The scope of the procurement also includes the grounding required by the switchgear process. The subject matter of the procurement is described in more detail in section II.2.4 "Description of the procurement" and in the attached draft of the preliminary invitation to tender.

Helen Electricity Network Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Entity, Contracting Authority or Client) will build a new 110kV GIS switch plant in Eiranranta. The new switchgear will be located underground in the Munkkisaari tunnel. The target of this procurement is the process equipment of the switchgear to be built, including a 110kV gas-insulated two-group single-rail switchgear with protective relays, control systems and self-propelled equipment (excl. self-propelled transformer) installed and commissioned. The scope of the procurement also includes the grounding required by the switchgear process. Within the preliminary target schedule, the switchgear will be in production use ~2/2025.

The process equipment to be procured forms a natural entity, which is why the tendering process is carried out as a single entity.

The scope and details of the procurement are described in more detail in the tender documents, which will be delivered in full to the tenderers selected on the basis of the requests to participate by means of a preliminary invitation to tender. The procurement will be carried out by means of a negotiated procedure in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts in Special Sectors.
