The estimated value of the current procurement is SEK 120000000. The ceiling volume for framework agreements, including options, is SEK 180,000,000.

The assignment relates to pharmaceuticals within the ATC codes A, B, C, J, H, N and V that are ordered through a requisition procedure and are mainly administered by healthcare professionals in the regions of the Southeast Healthcare Region and their healthcare contractors. Medicines are an essential part of health care. The regions within the South-Eastern Healthcare Region are tasked with providing cost-effective medicines for patients/clinics in a satisfactory manner to ensure patient safety and good quality of care.

Coordinated procurement
This procurement is carried out as a coordinated procurement between Region Jönköping County, Region Östergötland and Region Kalmar County.
Participating parties have, through a power of attorney, commissioned Region Jönköping County to carry out the procurement. Similar award decisions are made by the respective participating parties.
Agreement Term
The Agreement is valid for four (4) years from the date of the Agreement's inception. The agreement's estimated start date is 2024-03-01 and is valid until 2028-02-28.

The Client has the unilateral right to terminate all or part of the Agreement, regardless of the reason, with a notice period of at least five (5) months. Contracts can be terminated after 12 months from the start date of the agreement at the earliest. The total contract period is a maximum of four (4) years.
During the notice period, compensation for work performed / delivery is paid according to agreed prices. The supplier is not entitled to compensation for loss suffered by the supplier as a result of the cessation.
The Client reserves the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect when the maximum volume has been reached, even if the contract period has not expired. When the ceiling volume is about to be reached, it is the Client's responsibility to notify the Supplier sufficiently in advance of such termination, in order to minimize any damage to the Supplier.
The Supplier is not entitled to any compensation for any damage that the Supplier suffers or risks suffering as a result of such termination
Procurement value
The estimated value of the current procurement is SEK 120000000. The ceiling volume for framework agreements, including options, is SEK 180,000,000.
Note that ceiling volume means the definite limit on how much is allowed to buy from the framework agreement and the stated ceiling volume is not equal to the estimated volume.
All of the values and/or volumes reported in the procurement documents are estimated data and the Buyer therefore does not guarantee that these are achieved during the contract period. The buyer's call out under the forthcoming contract is in relation to his needs at any point during the contract period.
