The client operates the renovation and extension of the Claudiusschule in Herne. This is a 3-speed elementary school in the district Wanne from the year of construction in 1973. Recently, there has been a major roof renovation in 2017.

This measure includes an extension for the OGS area with approx. 475 m 2 BGF, the facade renovation of the existing building with large-scale replacement of the existing wooden windows, painting and flooring work, renovation of toilet facilities and the rehabilitation of the drinking water & heating network. In addition, modifications to provide accessibility based on DIN 18040 are planned. Furthermore, the electrical installation is to be renewed and the IT networking in the school building created or expanded. The work must be planned and executed in such a way that the construction work can be carried out while the school is in operation. As far as possible, the interests of the students and the staff of the teaching staff shall be taken into account with regard to the function of the building.

Subject of this invitation to tender are the basic services of the structural design according to § 51 HOAI of phases 1 to 6.

The chargeable costs for the structural design are based on the cost estimate of the client.

With regard to the refurbishment and extension of 2 properties, the client proceeds in accordance with § 11 HOAI and estimates the chargeable costs as follows:

- 55% of the 300 costs and 10% of the 400 costs for the refurbishment of the existing building: approx. EUR 1,0 million (net),

- 55% of the 300 costs and 10% of the costs for the new OGS 400: 434 TE (net).
