The scope of services to be offered includes the design, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of an electro-hydraulic handling device on a rail portal for handling containers up to 45 ft in size (from / to ship and truck) on the planned Logport VI terminal in Duisburg-Walsum. In addition, the expert acceptance with test load including test weights as well as the training and instruction of the operating and maintenance personnel.
Hafen Duisburg-Rheinhausen GmbH (client) is planning to build a trimodal KV terminal on the logport VI site in Duisburg-Walsum (formerly the Walsum paper factory), which is located directly on the banks of the Rhine. The terminal will have spatially separate modules for rail and ship handling. In the rail module, the envelope is to be handled by reachstackers. On the other hand, the water-side container handling is to be handled by the electro-hydraulic handling device advertised here.
The handling equipment must enable the continuous handling of 20 ft, 30 ft, 40 ft and 45 ft containers with a maximum weight under a spreader of 41 tons. For a handling volume of approx. 40,000 cargo units per year and an operating time of approx. 25 years.
The material handling equipment is set up on a crane runway directly on the Rhine and operated outdoors. The display from the quay edge must be designed for a ship width of 17.50 m with a container load of 41 t. The delivery depth must reach 11.00 m below the top edge of the rail with a 41 t container load. The crane runway will be built on site and may be available in July 2021. When designing the material handling equipment, the maximum load capacity of the old quay facilities, the fluctuating water levels in the Rhine and noise protection must be taken into account. The specific requirements are contained in the tender documents.
For space reasons, 2 lanes for trucks are arranged under the rail portal of the handling device. The rail portal must be designed geometrically so that the two lanes under the portal can be used at any time.
Liability for defects (warranty) must be at least 24 months for all parts delivered, except wear parts or 4,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.
Commercial and / or technical ancillary offers are permitted to a limited extent. Commercial ancillary offer can only provide different due dates of the purchase price payment or discounts. In the case of additional technical offers, the offer must demonstrate that the requirements of the handling company are met and that there are no disadvantages in terms of quality, service life and operating costs. There is no entitlement to the evaluation of additional offers.
