The city of Karlsruhe – in-house operation Team Sauberes Karlsruhe – is responsible for the maintenance of the disused landfills Karlsruhe West and Karlsruhe East. Due to legal requirements, the sewer systems of the landfills must be cleaned, checked and documented once a year. This inspection is usually carried out by driving with different camera systems. Before an inspection, the sewer systems must always be flushed.
The tender for the service will take place in four lots.
Inspection of sewer systems Landfill West 2023The piping systems of the Karlsruhe West landfill (see appendix) are to be cleaned, flushed with a vibrating or rotating nozzle and then driven on with a camera; within the attendance hours of landfill employees working day Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
For a comprehensive assessment of the piping system, the areas between shafts S226 and S223 as well as the areas on the eastern slope from S216 to S222 are to be flushed and inspected with the camera.
Period:
The service must be carried out by 31.12.2023 at the latest.
Inspection of sewer systems Landfill East 2023The piping systems of the Karlsruhe Ost landfill (see appendix) are to be cleaned, flushed with a vibrating or rotary nozzle and then driven on with a camera; within the attendance hours of landfill employees working day Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The intention is to clean the pipeline system of the Karlsruhe Ost landfill, flush it with a vibrating or rotating nozzle and then drive it with a camera.
The maximum length to be driven is 400 m, but 220 m must be driven from each side. Appropriate cable lengths must be provided and must be installed before work begins.
Period:
The service must be carried out by 31.12.2023 at the latest.
Inspection of the sewer systems Landfill West 2024 and 2025The piping systems of the Karlsruhe West landfill (see appendix) are to be cleaned, flushed with a vibrating or rotating nozzle and then driven on with a camera; within the attendance hours of landfill employees working day Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
For a comprehensive assessment of the piping system, the areas S236 in the entrance area to S226 on the north slope are to be flushed and driven on with a camera for the first time in 2024.
In the following year, 2025, the areas behind it between shaft S226 and S223, as well as the remaining areas on the eastern slope from S216 to S222, resulting in a comprehensive damage pattern every two years.
For this purpose, areas with heavier deposits or impurities should be rinsed annually. Experience has shown that the range from S232 to S229 should be mentioned here.
Period:
The service must be carried out by 31.07 at the latest in 2024 and 2025.
