The assignment includes consulting, planning and engineering design, as well as following up in the construction stage of the new Bus Lane section from Ruten to Vatnekrossen, both situated in Sandnes municipality. The main cycle route structure along the county road, as well as municipal roads connected to the county road shall also be considered. Structures such as bridges, retaining walls, etc. shall be assessed. The management of flood-water is also an important part of the work. The stretch is approx. 3 km and goes from the centre of Sandnes (Ruten) to county road 332 Gravarsveien/Hanaveien and up to the county road 332 Skippergata until it meets Vatnekrossen (national road 13).

A plan program and a zoning plan with an environmental impact assessment, including a technical detail plan with accompanying elucidations shall be prepared, as well as providing general assistance for the formal plan process.

The assignment also includes an option for a construction plan, i.e. the preparation of a complete tender documentation, including drafts for model based engineering design. The NPRA (Statens vegvesen) template in handbooks R761 og R762; the Procedure Code shall be applied. As well as follow-up in the construction stage.
