The West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT) is inviting tenders for the provision of a 24 hour reactive maintenance service and emergency call out facility for foul and surface drainage, sewage and sanitary plant and associated components.

The drain maintenance reactive services are to be undertaken at the Trust sites – Watford General Hospital (WGH), St Albans City Hospital (SACH), Hemel Hempstead General Hospital (HHGH) and Jacketts Field Rehabilitation Unit (Abbots Langley – supported out of SACH).

The contract to be awarded will be for 3 years with an option to extend, up to a further 2 years (not exceeding 5 years in total), subject to satisfactory service and agreement on terms for the extension period.

The contractor is to provide an emergency call-out service on a 24/7 basis throughout the year including all bank holidays.
