The planning approval decision has been available since December 2020. Planning services for construction implementation are to be awarded in 2021 and execution planning begins. The objective of the construction implementation is to be completed in 2028. Further details on the project and the disassembly can be found in the procurement documents on the procurement platform (documents number group 500, especially document 510).
For these lots, the freelance services of structural engineering are advertised in 2 lots with this contract notice: TWP 1 includes items 1, 2, 3 and 8 (dividing dam and measures in the polder); TWP2 includes items 4, 5, 6 (main dam and protective measures in the inland country).
When participating in the procedure for both lots, the conditions and additional information in point VI.3) must be observed.
Lot TWP1: Structural Engineering (lots 1, 2, 3, 8)II.2.4.1) planned scope of measures in lot TWP1:
The services to be rendered in the lot refer to different objects of lots 1, 2, 3 and 8:
— lot 1, dividing dam, inlet area: passages,
— Lot 2, inlet and outlet structures in the dividing dam: 5 inlet and outlet structures,
— Lot 3, adaptation measures Hermann-Schneider-Allee/Rheinpark/Nature conservation centre: pumping stations, passages and pedestrian walkways,
— Lot 8, further construction work, in particular bridges and passages.

II.2.4.2) Performance profile:
Lot TWP1 includes the following services for various engineering structures of lots 1, 2, 3 and 8:
1) Technical planning structural engineering according to § 51 HOAI, LP 1-6 complete,
2) Special services of performance phase 8:
a) engineering inspection of the design of the structure for compliance with the tested static documents,
b) if necessary: engineering control of construction materials.

II.2.4.3) Step-by-step commissioning:
The commissioning takes place in stages, usually as follows:
Level I = basic contract: services up to the preparation of the award (service phases 1 to 6)
Stage II = optional services: i.w. Engineering control of the execution of the structure or construction works (in the course of LP 8).
