the purpose of the contract is the underwriting and management of property damage insurance contracts for the needs of the city of Villeneuve-Le-Roi. The contract is for a period of 5 years, with effect from 01/01/2024, with the possibility of annual termination with 6 months notice before the deadline. This duration is recommended in these areas of the insurance market for the following reasons: 1) Insurers practice risk pooling over time (a "bad" year in terms of claims is compensated by other more favorable years). Too short a duration would not allow to obtain attractive prices. 2) The duration of 5 years still makes it possible to respect the principle of the public order of a periodic reopening of competition

The purpose of the contract is to provide insurance for damage to the city's property. Candidates are obliged to respond to the basic solution and the imposed variant. It includes a variant with the character of an alternative service: insurance with a deductible different from the basic solution.
