The purpose of the CR and PR insurance policy is to compensate injured third parties, FGV customers or not, when they suffer bodily damage, material or economic damage, caused by actions or omissions that are as a result of the normal or abnormal operation of the public service provided by FGV.Es mandatory for companies engaged in public transport by rail to have insurance policies that guarantee SOV and RC coverage, according to RD 1211/1990, of 28 September, which approves the Regulation of the Law on Land Transport Planning. With regard to PR insurance, it is derived from Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector.
