Carrying out an in-depth evaluation of the System for Autonomy and Dependency Care (SAAD) in Andalusia to extract data with scientific rigor in order to make a complete study of specific and exclusive aspects of the Andalusian system that are differentiating with respect to that of other communities and that would help the Agency to improve the deficiencies that are detected and make the SAAD in Andalusia a more efficient system for that reaches all dependents in an effective and appropriate manner. It is necessary to implement a Regional Strategy for Analysis and Applied Research, aligned with the guidelines approved by the Interterritorial Council for the promotion of deinstitutionalization and the change of the Long-Term Care (CLD) model.

It is necessary to implement a Regional Strategy for Analysis and Applied Research, aligned with the guidelines approved by the Interterritorial Council for the promotion of deinstitutionalization and the change of the Long-Term Care (CLD) model, which will include:

• Evaluation of the current situation of care policies, and especially of the System for Autonomy and Dependency Care (SAAD) in Andalusia.

• Definition of the new CLD model, with a socio-sanitary perspective.

• Review of the existing legislative framework, as well as existing policies in Andalusia.

• Identification of Challenges, Obstacles, Improvements and Strengths in the development of these transformation processes.

• Information campaigns on dependency.
