Procurement of public transport services in local rail passenger transport (SPNV) of the express lines “RE 1 Hannover Hbf — Norddeich Mole/ Wilhelmshaven”, “RE 8 Bremerhaven-Lehe — Hanover Hbf”, “RE 9 Osnabrück Hbf — Bremerhaven-Lehe” as well as the reinforcer services between Bremen and Nienburg and Hanover for the period Dec. 2024 to Dec. 2037 by the LNVG, the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, the Hanover region, the Westphalia-Lippe local transport association (NWL) and the regional association Greater Braunschweig; approx. 6,382,000 kilometers per year by train. The double-deck electric multiple units in single and multiple traction procured by LNVG, including manufacturer-based maintenance, will be made available to the future operator for mandatory use.
