B39 Schemmelsberg Tunnel - Safety-related retrofitting of tunnels and construction of a rescue tunnel; here: Site management and local construction supervision
The best since 1990. 677 m long single-tube Schemmelsberg Tunnel is to be retrofitted in accordance with EABT-80/100. Parts of the technical equipment have already been implemented in a preliminary lot in 2018-2020. Now the technical equipment is to be expanded to include further system components such as radio and cameras, and existing system components such as lighting are to be renewed. The pavement, the emergency walkways of the tunnel main tube, the fire extinguishing water pipe and the drainage facilities will be renewed. A new rescue tunnel with two cross-passages, an emergency basin, extinguishing water basin, fan partition, tunnel forecourt and a portal structure will be built. The structural and technical conversion, equipment and extension of the Schemmelsberg Tunnel, in accordance with the requirements of EABT-80/100, will be published in a call for tenders. There is no separation between the structural and technical equipment. The engineering office supervising the construction with a construction management function must be able to cover all subject areas in terms of content and expertise - possibly also via subcontracting - which must then be coordinated independently. The engineering office is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all mining, traffic, construction, operational and all third-party trades. This also includes the involvement of the authorities and the BOS services, the preparatory work for press appointments, appointments with authorities, owners, municipalities or others, as well as the coordination of topics relating to the ÜLT connection, the connection to the ILS and the road maintenance department.
The engineering office supervising the construction with construction management function has to provide service phase 8, of the service areas of the HVA F-StB "Object Planning Engineering Structures" and "Technical Planning Technical Equipment". The contractor's implementation plans must be examined by the BOL/BÜ. The expert status assessments are carried out via the BOL/BÜ contract.
