Radiotherapy equipment installed at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow, will reach the end of its recommended life-expectancy and is due for replacement under the Scottish Government's Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Replacement Programme (CERP).
This NHS Requirement includes the provision for the purchase of the following Products:
3 x Linear Accelerators: comprising 2 x multi (photon/electron) modality and 1 x single (photon) modality.
The implementation of the Products will be undertaken by the Contractor on a ‘turnkey’ basis.
It is intended that an award will be made to 1 successful Contractor who will act in the role of Prime Contractor for supply of all Products and associated services to the Board. This means that the successful Contractor shall assume full responsibility for supply of all Products and associated services.
