The municipalities of Alphen-Chaam, Baarle-Nassau and Gilze en Rijen work together in one official organization: the ABG organization, hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority or client, wants to have a new Sports Hall in Gilze realized including the associated layout of the public space.

In consultation with the local residents and the future users, an integral design has been drawn up for the new construction of the sports hall.

This has led to a building of approx. 3,100 m2 area consisting of a sports hall of 28 x 44.2 m2 net and approx. 1,860 m2 of associated spaces, such as a grandstand, elevator, appliance sheds, changing accommodation, catering, multifunctional room, etc.

The sports hall consists of two hall parts that can be used as 1 large hall or as 2 hall parts by means of a vertically liftable partition. The free net height of the sports hall is at least 7 meters. The multifunctional room can be divided into two parts of the room by means of a panel sliding wall.
