The contract is primarily designed to ensure calibration, repair and maintenance of a number Maha manufactured vehicle test equipment which are being used for a variety of vehicle testing schemes across Great Britain. The equipment is between 10–15 years old and includes Maha Rollers Brake Testers (IW2 and IW7), Maha CarLift 4 4-Post Lifts, Maha Wheel Play Detectors, Maha Lite 1.1/1.2 Head Light Testers and Maha Dynarollers (Speed Simulators). For information about equipment volumes, please refer to the Annexes in the contract specification document. The scope of the contract will also include a small element of equipment decommissioning and recommissioning. This part of the contract would be rarely used and will solely be determined by business needs.
