Construction of an overflow section and 20 flotsam deflectors, hydraulic engineering, concrete and reinforced concrete construction, dike construction

The subject of the present measure is the construction of the overflow section in the dike section Bad Düben – Hohenprießnitz between dike km 2+515 to 2+820 as well as the flotsam deflectors located in the dike foreland. The overflow section is approx. 275 m long. Approximately 20 flotsam deflectors are to be erected in the Mulde foreland.

The following main works are to be carried out:

• Preparation of construction roads (partly mobile), approx. 1,000 m

• Topsoil removal / application incl. intermediate storage according to plan 070, approx. 7,500 m²

• Earthworks and dike construction, approx. 2,500 m³

• Geogrid with fleece, approx. 6,600 m²

• Betonpflasterwege, ca. 900 m²

• Flotsam deflector (reinforced concrete), 20 pieces
