Whenever the description "type ..." is used in the description of the subject of the contract or the product's own name is indicated, this means that the Employer allows submission of equivalent offers with the same or better parameters than those required by the Employer. It is allowed to offer market equivalents with parameters not worse than the product indicated. The parameters of the ordered products determine the essential operational and technical conditions which the subject of the contract must meet. Indicated brands or manufacturer names specify the product class.

The Contractor, who refers to equivalent solutions, is obliged to demonstrate that the supplies he offers meet the requirements specified by the Employer.
