Tender for design of wayfinding elements and outdoor facilities for Hærvejen

Significant investments are planned for the development of Hærvejen, including the development of a distinctive visual identity. The visual identity is expressed both digitally and physically. The digital platforms include, among other things, website and app that are under development. Physically, the overall visual communication must be expressed in the physical elements along Hærvejen. The physical elements include wayfinding, dissemination and facilities at break points.

The tender thus concerns a contract for the supply of design of wayfinding elements and outdoor facilities along Hærvejen.

The contracting entity wishes to enter into a contract for the supply of design of wayfinding elements and outdoor facilities that will create a strong visual narrative and cohesion along Hærvejen's 638 km and the cycle route's 454 km.

The present call for tenders comprises the following sub-elements:

• Design and concept of Hærvejen's wayfinding in the form of signs for marking, reference and more

• Design and concept of facilities such as shelter, mult toilet, shelter, sales stall, seating and more

• Design and concept of communication elements that will contribute to the good experience on Hærvejen

• Setting up camp sites to serve as an exhibition for the designed elements

For all elements, the design must match the graphic identity, which is why the collaboration between the suppliers of the digital track and the physical wayfinding (and to a lesser extent the analogue maps) is important. Mutual orientation as well as search and development of which initiatives can create an experience for the users and recognition between the digital and physical universe is a prerequisite for solving the task.

There is a fixed budget of DKK 3,800,000 excl. VAT for the entire contract offered, which is further divided into sub-budgets, which the partial deliveries under the contract must not exceed. Tenders that for each sub-delivery are more expensive than the sub-budget for the sub-delivery will thus be declared unconditional (inadmissible). The contracting entity reserves the right to take award decisions on the basis of the initial tenders.

Pursuant to section 49(2) of the Public Procurement Act, the contracting entity has assessed whether the contract can be divided into lots, but has assessed that it is most appropriate, for both practical and economic reasons, to combine the tasks of the contract for the performance of one supplier.
