In the context of the BR2 Material Test Reactor (MTR) Primary Inlet Service (ISI) program, the structural integrity of the following must be inspected:

- piping,

- valves,

- welds,

- bolts,

- tanks.

The main inspection techniques to be used are the "Penetrant Technique" (TR), the "Ultrasonic Technique" (TU) and the "Visual Technique" (TV).

However, it may happen that other more advanced techniques are needed to obtain all the necessary information of the condition of a component.

For these techniques also a price must be mentioned in the offer.

Inspection intervals are based on the guidelines specified in the ASME code. The practical implementation is performed by the SCK itself depending on the state of the installation. Inspections can only be performed during a shutdown period.

The most common windows that are planned for the inspections themselves are 1-2 weeks, the preparatory work is planned in advance and then a short period is provided for all the questions that still need to be done after the inspections.
