Balconies, canopy structures, staircases
PROPOTSDAM GmbH intends extensive modernization and repair measures on the existing building with 74 residential units.
The planning and construction services include: "Hertha-Thiele-Weg 1-11u, 14480 Potsdam"
The building is built in prefabricated construction and consists of 5 upper floors and a basement. The vertical access to the residential floors takes place via a two-flight staircase (6 staircases).
Structural measures from the basement to the roof are planned, with the focus of the measures being on the energy-efficient upgrading of the building envelope and the installation of elevator systems. After renovation, the energy-efficient building concept corresponds to a KfW Efficiency House 55 in accordance with the requirements of the KfW Development Bank with a
Façade insulation in ETICS design and newly installed plastic insulating glass windows.
All residential units will have new balconies in an expanded floor area.
- Balcony systems: The replacement with new balcony systems with an enlarged floor area is planned here.
- The balcony systems on the courtyard side must always be swivelled over the roof of the building (dismantling and assembly).
- The green area facing the courtyard is only to be claimed to the extremely necessary minimum for the work.
- Driving with heavy construction vehicles/equipment is not permitted
- Canopy structures: The existing reinforced concrete canopies/porches are to be demolished. In front of the entrances to the buildings, canopy structures are newly erected.
- Staircases: The external staircases will be replaced by new ones due to their structural condition.
The structural measures take place in the inhabited state of the houses.
