The district of Uckermark (client) tenders for the provision, maintenance and servicing of a semi-stationary speed monitoring system together with a PoliScan FM1 speed measuring device.

After successful trial operation, the district of Uckermark plans to maintain and improve road safety with the help of a semi-stationary speed monitoring system at different / changing locations in the client's area of responsibility.

The corresponding work, which is directly related to the provision of the semi-stationary speed monitoring system, is to be carried out by the contractor. The contractor must provide the client with systems that are ready for operation and approved for the control of flowing traffic for the entire term of the contract in the required number and equipment.

The district of Uckermark already has only mobile speed measuring devices of the type PoliScan FM1 from the company Vitronic. The measuring staff are adequately trained in the use of PoliScan FM1 measuring instruments. A separate multiplier is available. Likewise, the technical infrastructure is only geared towards the operation of the speed measuring devices of the manufacturer Vitronic. The choice of a different measuring method/measuring device would lead to a technical incompatibility and would entail disproportionate difficulties in use.
