Agder kollektivtrafikk AS (Norwegian abbreviation: AKT) shall procure a new database system where routes, departures and stops for the public transport in Agder shall be stored and maintained. The system must contain import and export functions that make it easy to add, collect and exchange data with AKT's internal systems and external systems at for operators and Entur.
The new system must be functional, user-friendly, modern and future-oriented in such a way that it can be used for new (e.g. NeTEx) and old standards (e.g. Regtopp) in the industry. The system must also be development-friendly in such a way that it can be adapted to future requirements for mobility for bicycles, pedestrian, requirement managed transport, etc.
The contract includes the procurement of the system with related adaptations, development and implementation to AKT's systems, as well as a contract for further operation and maintenance for the system. As long as the procurement and operation/maintenance of the system are successful, it is assumed that operating and maintenance agreements can be extended for the system's operating life, possibly for up to 10 years.
