Under the Social Support Act (Wmo 2015), the municipality is responsible for supporting Amsterdammers, who need it, to participate in society and promote their own direction. The social system in Amsterdam's neighbourhoods and neighborhoods has been renewed and simplified in order to organise the services needed for this purpose and closer to the Amsterdammer. The renewal applies both to the preventive social
basis as, the care and support carried out from the neighborhood teams, and the additional support from the WMO.
In addition to the services provided by these neighbouring teams, the municipality wants to purchase services for Additional Individual Support (formerly Ambulatory Support). For this purpose, the municipality organises a tender by means of the social and other specific services procedure.
