Planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of an absorber equipped with measurement technology for CO2 extraction from the air by means of gas scrubbing. The absorber represents a subsystem of a complete system that is designed for a continuous CO2 separation efficiency of about 100 kg/h.
Planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of a CO2 absorption plant for CO2 extraction from the air based on a scrubber system with an aqueous polyethyleneimine solution as absorption medium. The DAC system is to be connected to a PtX system in Germany. In combination with a suitable desorber, concentrated CO2 with a separation efficiency of about 100 kg/h is to be generated for methane synthesis.
The process plant must fully meet the following requirements:
- CO2 absorption by means of a scrubber system based on an aqueous polyethyleneimine solution
- Power consumption at the specified nominal operating point < 1 kWh/kg CO2
- Space requirement < 0.6 m²/kg
- Adaptation of the scrubber geometry to the local conditions at the installation site
- Integration of extensive measurement technology for process validation
- Possibility of flexible operational management (realization of different operating points for process validation)
- Plant documentation, e.g. to obtain an operating permit
- Warranty: 24 months
